When you cannot seem to do anything without your face and scalp braking into a terrible sweat it is often do to excessive facial sweating. This disorder affects millions and millions of people worldwide and it is vital you know that there is hope.

Excessive facial sweating is a frustrating thing to have and too many people are too embarrassed to visit their doctor about this condition. It is important that you get over this and see your doctor as soon as you can. There are plenty of methods for dealing with this condition and it is time that you started seeing which ones were right for you.

Everyone sweats. We do it to release toxins that have built up in our bodies and we do it to control our temperature. That is why when we exercise we sweat, we are exerting ourselves and getting too hot, so the body tries to cool itself down. How this works is simple, by making the skin wet, we feel cooler when air hits us. Unfortunately not all of us only sweat when we have been working out. Many sweat even when not doing anything physical, and we sweat a lot. This is hyperhidrosis and when this sweating happens mainly in the facial and scalp area it is called facial hyperhidrosis.

The face and scalp have so many pores that it makes sweating in these areas excessively too easy if you ask me. Excessive facial sweating may feel like a curse but you can try a number of different methods to both control it and prevent it completely.

There are some surgical methods that your doctor may wish to employ to help you with excessive facial sweating but these should not be done right out of the gate. It is vital that you take the time and effort to try other options before resorting to any kind of surgical procedure. Surgery may be a quick fix but it is also a permanent one and why go through the pain and suffering, never mind the expense if you don?t really have to. Better to try all the other methods first and eliminate them as possible cures for hyperhidrosis.

Good methods of dealing with excessive facial sweating are those that are painless and easy to manage. The treatments are often very different than those employed for other types of excessive sweating. Because the facial area is made up of such sensitive and delicate skin you cannot use the same topical treatments on it that you would use for other parts of the body such as the underarm area. That skin is much tougher and can handle stronger things coming into contact with it.

Before you put anything at all on your skin it is best to speak with your regular doctor. Better yet, if you have a dermatologist then speak with this professional. This is the person that you can trust. They know best what is good for your skin and what is not. They have spent a lifetime learning all about how to treat the skin of the entire body and they will be able to help you in a big way when it comes to dealing with excessive facial sweating.

Sometimes excessive sweating from facial hyperhidrosis at public gatherings may cause extreme unhappiness, this is unfortunate on just one of the reasons why you need to take care of this problem today. It also brings psychological trauma to people who suffer from it. So start looking for a cure today and make a change for the better.

Question: How can a European personal care company gain an impressive position in the $1.7 billion U.S. deodorant marketplace?

a) Sweat equity
b) Spend cold hard cash
c) A little bit of both.

For Henkel and Unilever, the answer is C.

Henkel’s $420 million purchase of three antiperspirant and deodorants brands from Procter & Gamble has given it a stable of products with sales of $275 million and moved the company into what it contends is the number three position in the U.S. deodorant market. Meanwhile, Unilever has built its Axe brand into a category favorite in less than four years via a smart marketing campaign focused on younger male consumers and a costly brand launch.

According to company officials, Henkel’s purchase of Right Guard, Soft & Dri and Dry Idea will help it expand the German company’s presence in the body care sector.

"This acquisition will enable us to significantly expand our body care business in North America and will further strengthen our participation in the growth of this segment. The strong brands involved provide a perfect fit with our existing personal cleansing business in the U.S.," explained Hans Van Bylen, executive vice president cosmetics/toiletries of Henkel KGaA in a press statement when the deal closed in May. "The deodorant and antiperspirant market is highly attractive and we are delighted to be able to substantially strengthen our Dial platform with these acquisitions. This transaction will take us to number three in the attractive U.S. deodorant market,” he added.

For Henkel, the most prominent brand in the deal, Right Guard, brings a viable contender in the male side category, which is new territory for the company.

“Dial and a lot of our current brands—Tone and Pure & Natural—are either female-skewing or are all-family brands. So now we have a strong male entry; the male personal-grooming segment is really growing. There's a growing trend where personal care brands are skewing either male or female, and with this stratification, we want brands that can play in either segment,” Scott Moffitt, Dial Corp.'s senior vice president for personal care and grooming told Adweek.com in early June.

Although a strong brand with a solid history, Right Guard’s sales have been sluggish at best in recent years. According to IRI, Right Guard’s sales have slipped 1.9% in the 52 weeks ended April 16, following a sales decline of 0.8% in 2005 and 7.1% in 2004.

The question is, can Dial can revive Right Guard and make it a formable candidate to P&G’s Old Spice and Unilever’s hot Axe brand?

“Right Guard has a strong brand equity. Henkel could grow that brand,” said Jason M. Gere, associate vice president, securities research-household products for A.G. Edwards & Son in New York City.

Unilever’s Axe has been one of the fastest growing brands in the ap/deo market, posting tremendous sales growth since it made its debut in the U.S. market in 2002. According to IRI, its sales in supermarkets, drugstores and mass outlets excluding Wal-Mart have risen from just under $27 million in 2004 to nearly $60 million in the 52 weeks ending this April 16.

What has fueled the Axe brand’s swift rise in the marketplace? An expensive launch and savvy integrated deodorant marketing focused on male-female relationships rather than traditional sports marketing. Among Unilever’s recent endeavors was work with MTV’s The Gamekillers, a reality-based television special during which characters from the show helped launch Axe Dry antiperspirant stick’s new advertising campaign. Now Axe has a tie in with myspace.com and Christine Dolce. Known as Forbidden, Dolce—who reportedly claims 850,000 “friends” and 30 million page views, not to mention photos scheduled for a future issue of Playboy—is listed as the official myspace group moderator and spokesmodel for Axe Dry Gamekillers.

Unilever spent considerable cash—approximately $100 million—to bring the Axe brand to the U.S. market, which has added new dollars to the company’s coffers.

“They aren’t making a lot of money on it, but it’s growing well. They are building good brand equity,” said Mr. Gere, who contends that despite Axe’s success, efforts to revive Old Spice may have been a better deal for P&G’s bottom line.

“P&G took an old dead brand and they reinvented it. The margins are likely better for Old Spice,” he said.

Still, Axe’s position in the marketplace is enviable.

“Everyone is trying to get a piece of the pie,” noted Mr. Gere, who said that companies are riding on Unilever’s coattails, especially in the body spray area.

But not every company is focused on body sprays for growth in the deodorant market. Colgate’s recent purchase of Tom’s of Maine’s provides it with an important brand in the ever-important natural personal care category, as well as increased presence in the deodorant sector, where it already competes with Speed Stick and Lady Speed Stick.

According to Susan Dewhirst, media and public relations leader for Tom’s of Maine, the brand’s newest entry in the category, a new long-lasting deodorant, is right on target for a demanding marketplace.

“Retailers are now more focused than ever on serving consumers needs and matching their lifestyle preferences. Consumers expect efficacy and the largest unmet need has been long-lasting performance. These products combine efficacy and natural ingredients, which is a winning combination,” she said.

Efficacy remains the key element with consumers, with recent launches in the women’s sector touting longer-lasting performance and invisible protection.

This spring, P&G restaged the Secret Platinum antiperspirant and deodorant line, which posted a 12.1% sales gain for the 52 weeks ended April 16. The line includes Secret Platinum Invisible Solid, which boasts an improved formula that glides on clear for maximum protection—specifically “24-hour protection or your money back,” according to the company.

“The Secret Platinum line is the strongest, longest lasting protection you can get from Secret, offering stay strong odor and wetness protection with a brand new elegant look,” said Michelle Vaeth, communications director for Secret. The revamped line, which features sleek new platinum blue packaging, debuted on retail shelves March.

Also in March, Unilever launched Dove Ultimate Clear antiperspirant/deodorant, which it contends is a step above the so-called invisible products on the market. According to Unilever, 51% of women use invisible solids, but do not believe they are completely invisible. Once Dove Ultimate Clear is applied, translucent moisturizers form a barrier between skin and clothes, creating a layer that cares of skin and alleviates concerns about white marks on clothes.

Smaller Brands at Risk?

But as companies continue to roll out new products in this already-crowded marketplace, something has to give. And that could be shelf space.

According to industry experts, Walmart’s Remix program and other inventory efficiency initiatives could impact smaller brands in the marketplace. While these products are not in the top three in their respective categories, they still provide welcome cash flow to their owners.

“When you go down the aisle, it’s too crowded. “[Walmart] wants to free up shelf space and generate better cash flow. They want brands that turn over fast; ones that don’t collect dust,” said Mr. Gere, who added that brands such as Mitchum (Revlon) Ban (Kao), and Arm and Hammer (Church and Dwight) “could be at risk” if WalMart opts to cut back on SKUs.

Sweaty palms disorder or the palmer hyperhidrosis is the most commonly diagnosed forms of the excessive sweating syndrome hyperhidrosis. (...)

Sweaty palms disorder or the palmer hyperhidrosis is the most commonly diagnosed forms of the excessive sweating syndrome hyperhidrosis. This condition represents itself by occurring as a condition when a person?s hands and soles of the feet sweat boundlessly. This produces wet and cold hands of the patients who suffer from hyperhidrosis. That is the bad news, the good is that there is more than one cure for sweaty palms.

Certain emotional and psychological conditions are known to trigger excessive sweating syndrome. These emotional or psychological states include anxiety, nervousness or even anger. Although psychological distress is a widely acceptable cause of sweating, this sweaty palms effect mostly occurs in absence of outside stimulation. That is why its causes are thought to be rooted in the sympathetic nervous system.

In some patients excessive sweating syndrome occurs in combinations. The most commonly diagnosed blend of two different forms of hyperhidrosis is sweaty palms and feet soles together. This combination may also occur as the sweaty hands with excessive sweating in the under arms region. Such disorders are very common in teens at the time of puberty and may carry on for the whole life if not dealt with on time.

The amount of sweat that is excreted by the body is mainly dependent on the outside temperature and the exertion done by the body. More the exertion done, more is the sweat produced, so as to regulate the body temperature and to keep the body cool. . The chemical, which gives out odor to sweat, is 2 methyl phenol and 4 methyl phenol. The presence of these chemicals in the sweat is mainly responsible for the odor of the sweat. Sweat is excreted in humans through the sweat glands present in the body.

The armpits generally comprise of the appocrine glands, which are the sweat glands. These glands in addition to the watery sweat also excrete the fatty materials. This is why the under arm area is generally more sweat producing and gives out the odor, when it sweats.

The sweat pores are present throughout the body and are responsible for the excretion of the sweat from the body, thus regulating the body temperature. Sweat pores are also present in the palms. The sweaty palm excessive sweating is termed as palmer hyper hydrosis and may result in excessive sweat excretion through the palms. The problem of sweaty palm is genetic in most cases, which generally starts at early age and gradually increases with the age. The problem of sweaty palm may affect the social life of a person. The sympathetic chain controls the sweating mechanism, which is located in the chest cavity of the human body, and excessive sweating is the result of the hyper activity of the sympathetic chain, which is a part of the nervous system.

The problem of excessive sweating syndrome may get severe and a patient facing this problem may be categorized in one of the four categories, which are classified and distinguished on the basis of the severity of the problem.

This excessive sweating syndrome may affect the social life of a person and hence doctors have deduced a cure for it, which is known as the Thoracic Sympathectomy. The process involves surgical treatment, through the chest cavity, and the patient may be required to stay in the hospital for over 60 days. The recent development in this field has put to use the miniature cameras to remove the problems associated with it, and the patient is hospitalized for not more than 20 days.

The recent improvements in technologies have lead to safer surgical treatments that can be used as a cure for sweaty palms. These days the surgery is performed using endoscopy, wherein an optical fiber is put to use for the operation.

Thus the cure for sweaty palms and other excessive sweating syndromes has been well researched, and has been made possible by a surgical operation known as the thoracic sympathectomy, which is concerned with an endoscopic surgery of the chest cavity.

Many people face the problem of excessive sweating at night, which may lead to damp and moist bed. The problem may disturb the sleep and may cause disorders. A person facing this problem may feel excessively hot or cold while sleeping. There are various causes to this problem of excessive sweating at night, which is sometimes referred to as sleep hyperhidrosis.

The problem may be caused due to the consumption of alcohol, coffee or spicy food, before bedtime. It can also be caused during menopause. A person suffering from this problem must consult a doctor. Diabetes is another cause to this problem.

Any person may suffer from excessive sweating at night regardless of age or sex. Excessive sweating may happen all over the body from the facial area, arm pits, feet and trunk. The sweating from different parts are different cases of hyperhidrosis.

Sweating during the night is triggered by thermal sweating which is considered to be the main factor behind nocturnal sweating or nocturnal hyperhidrosis. Patients of this disorder often wake up at nights with sweat soaked bed and heavily perspiring body. The severe forms of hyperhidrosis are other than night sweating. However even sweating at night can pose major problems which may scale up to unmanageable severity. Once the problem goes beyond control then it?s hard to deal with it. In such a condition even the medications can?t work to their full effectiveness.

In case of nocturnal sweating, an individual generally faces a problem of excessive underarm sweating. Heavy perspiration in groin region has also been reported in some severe cases. This can be dangerous as the body keeps on losing water and salt levels at night when a person is asleep. This in turn may lead to complexities during night time when a person is unconsciously asleep.

Causes behind Night Sweating ?

The triggering of night time sweat has been linked to many factors. When a person develops this disorder many fever causing ailments follow. This is because of excessive sweating at night lowers the body temperature below permissible norms and when body resumes the heat, this sudden change in temperature causes feverish symptoms when the person gets up in the morning.

Night sweating also reduces the relaxation during sleep and the most important purpose of sleep i.e. resting is not fulfilled fully so the patients wake up under rested and with a dizzy feeling for the rest of the day. During menopause women also experience nocturnal sweating. Though excessive sweating at night are governed by many other problems including the over consumption of alcohol, coffee, or spicy foods, menopause in women, during pregnancy, etc. The problem may disturb the sleep and may cause disorders. A person facing this problem may feel excessively hot or cold while sleeping. There are various causes to this problem of excessive sweating at night, which is sometimes referred to as sleep hyperhidrosis, and a person facing this problem must consult a doctor to check for the causes to this problem.

So if you are a patient of this disorder then spicy food, coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited for consumption.

Curing the Nocturnal hyperhidrosis ? Before beginning with the cure of the disorder an in depth diagnosis is required. The doctor observes the symptoms and only then gauges the severity of the problem. If you observe night sweating in yourself then try to cut down on food items listed above in the prohibited list. Whenever you feel this problem is exceeding tolerable norms consult a doctor immediately. Doctors generally advise antiperspirants, botox injections and the iontophoresis therapy for the cure. In some severe cases surgery is also advised.

If you notice excessive sweating in children, many times we perceive it to be a common phenomenon. This is justified as children are known to spend a considerable amount of their time playing in engaging in physical exertion. As such, they tend to sweat a lot more. However all may not be well and at times excessive sweating in children denotes a continuous and ongoing problem for the youngster. In case you observe that your ward or child is sweating incessantly, it?s time to pay heed and take corrective action. Do confirm if the child has been experiencing excessive sweating even when they are in school or may be at other times that do not involve physical exertion. If the child answers in the affirmative or if you can clearly notice such an occurrence, it?s important that you seek help.

Obviously, excessive sweating in children does not necessarily refer to Hyperhydrosis, but could be a tell tale sign. Since we are not professionals and would not be able to make an accurate judgment, seeking medical help is a great option. A few routine tests can determine the cause of excessive sweating in children. This can help determine what is plaguing the child and how his/her situation can be improvised.

In most instances, excessive underarm perspiration problems seem to start in ones adolescent years. However in case of the palm and sole, excess sweating starts a lot in a majority of cases. The armpit sweating concerns start to develop rapidly around the child?s early teenage years in most cases. Now as adults we do realize how embarrassing sweating at all times can be. Excess sweating has many drawbacks and can influence a patient in a depressing manner. As adults we realize the implications, as children the situation is a lot tougher. Excessive sweating in children can cause uniforms to be stained and could cause increased body odor. . Children and adolescents with Hyperhidrosis are in fact not only enduring a medical problem but tend to suffer a strong psychological setback. This is because their condition could cause them to be the butt of jokes at school. For this it may not always be possible to blame the other kids as children think in a very different manner. However, for a child who is ridiculed, facing school life becomes increasingly difficult. They start to undergo tremendous social embarrassment that is wholly connected to their excessive sweating condition. Continuous teasing can cause children to develop a low esteem. Many times, excessive sweating in a child can cause others to shun an affected child. This could be a very traumatizing experience and could cause the child to behave like a social outcast. Apart from this, excessive sweating in children could cause serious outcomes. This includes experiencing great difficulty in concentrating in school, obscurity and evasion of social situations.

Excessive sweating in children makes them rather self conscious and causes them to shy away from interactions. This is because , sick kids feel insecure and are in the search of a safe haven where they are not placed with others who would ridicule them, obviously parents will have serious concern regarding a child?s behavior. Since it is difficult to pacify the child or help them see the situation, it is important that you seek proper guidance at the earliest possible. Apart from this it is essential that early treatment is introduced as this can greatly improve the child?s quality of life. The situation may need psychiatric intervention and parents could also enroll in related forums and introduce children into help groups so they can help retain their lost faith.

In case of excessive underarm sweating it is generally believed that it cannot be cured by a method other than a surgery. The fact is of course some what different from this. Although everyone perspires while doing physical activities or exercising. This also happens during hot weather but for some people things go beyond manageable scale. Some people even sweat during cold weather and while not doing any physical hard work. Hyperhidrosis is somehow a very easily found problem and is seen in every 5 people out of 100. As a matter of fact, most of such people don?t turn up at a doctor?s clinic because they feel embarrassed to discuss it openly.

Excessive underarm sweating or the Axillary Hyperhidrosis or the Arm Pit Hyperhydrosis as the name suggests affects only under arms region of the body. It has been linked to various pathophysiological mechanisms. Although this disorder of excessive under arm sweating can be treated with the ETS (Endoscopic Transthoracic Sympathectomy) surgery or the ETS C surgery, the patients in some cases might observe a high level of Compensatory Sweating. Individuals who have an adverse amount of hand sweating with arm pit sweating or axillary sweating as the secondary condition are considered to be more qualified candidates for an ETS surgery.

The under arm area which is an appocrine sweat gland excretes the excessive fatty material in the body along with the sweat. This presence of the fatty material along with the chemicals present in the sweat gives out the typical bad odor to the under arm sweat. To control the body odor arising from the excessive sweaty under arms, one may use the deodorants available in the market.

In addition to using deodorants there are a number of remedies available to cure the excessive underarm sweating tendency in some people. One such remedy known as the Sumphathectomy can be employed to check the excessive sweating in a person. This treatment involves the cutting down of the nerves that control the sweating of the body, and may result in less sweating.

These nerves that connect to the sweat glands are cut or can be removed. Even though this remedy is quite efficient in getting rid of sweaty under arms, it should be taken as the last option.

Another remedy, which can be considered, to get rid of excessive underarm sweating, is to get the sweat glands removed. This treatment is done my dermatologist to check the excessive sweating tendency in some people. In this remedy the doctor may cut or remove the sweat gland in an area, which creates the excessive sweating problem. Though this remedy is very effective but it might bring along other side effects along with it. Thus before getting this treatment done one must get the gather the complete knowledge of the procedure of this cure, and the possible side effects associated with it.

Surgeons from around the world have earned expertise in treating axillary hyperhidrosis or excessive underarm sweating and believe that this disorder can be treated through a surgery of the sympathetic nervous system. This process is different from the treatment of palmatory and facial hyperhidrosis. Discrete sympathetic procedures are used to cure different sympathetic disorders as the rules of Lin-Telaranta suggests. These classifications and rules insist on the concept of discrete procedure for a discrete problem. This in turn leads to better results from operations with minimal side effects and negligible complications arising.

Some doctors also believe that that the facial and arm pit sweating or hyperhidrosis can virtually handicap the lives of patients. The axillary sweating can also be treated using the Duarte Kux method. This method has a 95% success rate and is considered to be most effective and safest solution to the disorder. Its also more efficient and easier for the patient to be a part of this procedure.

Everyone seeks to have beautiful facial skin and excessive sweating and facial oiliness can get in the way. But not everyone has this, special care has to be taken to keep facial skin healthy and beautiful. One of the biggest problems that many encounter is facial oiliness. Nature has given skin a natural ability to replenish itself. Skin has sebaceous glands, which release oil periodically. This oil lubricates the skin and prevents the skin from drying. This oil also reduces down the occurrence of wrinkles. But in some people oil is produced so excessively that it results in acne. There are several factors that contribute to the excessive production of oil. Excessive oiliness could be hereditary, may be caused because of pregnancy and also due to excessive perspiration.

Excessive sweating and facial oiliness is one of the disorders that are hard to deal with. Until now it was not understood why perspiration in excess came from. But finally it is understood that the primary cause for excessive perspiration is genetic disorder. Excessive perspiration is also caused due to obesity, menopause, hyperthyroidism and psychiatric disorders. Depending on the cause of excessive perspiration, it is classified in to two categories Primary Hyperhidrosis and Secondary Hyperhidrosis. Primary Hyperhidrosis is the case where in excessive perspiration of hands and sole of foot takes place, but the cause of it is unknown. Secondary Hyperhidrosis is the case where in excessive perspiration takes place because of some health disorder. Some of these disorders include AIDS, Cancer, certain medications. In this case excessive sweating and facial oiliness may occur.

Usually excessive perspiration takes place in hands and the soles of the foot, because of higher concentration of apocrine and eccrine glands. Under rare circumstances facial skin and armpit regions are also affected. Excessive perspiration on facial skin makes victims feel embarrassed. In this case sweating takes place on the face and scalp. Sweat runs through the face like water continuously. Usually this is considered as a genetic disorder. People with excessive sweating cannot apply make up nor do they prefer to go out doors. Excessive perspiration on facial skin makes it appear oilier. Usually oiliness on the skin is good to some extent but in excess it is harmful. Excessive perspiration of facial skin further deteriorates the situation. It increases the acne on the skin there by resulting unhealthy and awkward looking skin. This problem also develops inferiority complex among the victims. So, they become more and more introvert and after a while it may also result in some psychological disorder.

There are some solutions to overcome these problems, but nothing is perfect. For the prevention of excessive sweating two methods are available, one is surgical and the other is non surgical methods. One of the surgical treatments is sympathectomy. In this method pair of sympathetic nerves that are responsible for production of sweating are cut down at specific positions. Depending on the position where the nerve has been cut down perspiration in a region can be controlled. But the complication associated with it is sweating in excess takes place. For example if sweating on facial skin is controlled by this method then excessive sweating may take place under the breast or on the back.

There are some non surgical treatments available for controlling excessive facial perspiration. They include anti perspirants containing aluminum chloride, oral medications. For control of excessive facial sweating oral medications are usually preferred. Several facial gels are also available in the market. This gel has to be applied on the face as a thin coat. This gel is primarily composed of anti perspirant. One other way to get relieved from excessive oiliness caused by excessive perspiration is by washing face regularly.

If you suffer from excessive sweating and facial oiliness then it is high time you went to the doctor to find out what is best for you.

For the many Hyperhidrosis sufferers who experience excessive underarm sweat there is now a cure available that won’t just put an end to their embarrassing condition, it will keep it from ever returning again.

(PRWEB) August 1, 2006 — For the more than 8 million Americans who suffer from Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, the current heat wave that is setting record temperatures across the country is a nightmare come true.

Fortunately, for the many Hyperhidrosis sufferers who experience excessive underarm sweat there is now a cure available that won’t just put an end to their embarrassing condition, it will keep it from ever returning again.

The cure was discovered by Mike Ramsey, who began suffering from Hyperhidrosis in high school. Before coming up with his cure, Ramsey tried every possible remedy he could find with no success.

“I tried more than a dozen types of antiperspirants,” Ramsey said. “I tried applying antiperspirants several times a day. I wore undershirts to soak up the sweat before it reached my outer shirt. When one undershirt wasn’t enough, I tried wearing two undershirts. When I was in my car (alone) I would hold up my arms, aligning them with the air conditioner vents, allowing cold air to flow up my sleeve to cool and dry my armpits. When sitting at my desk I tried to keep my arms away from my sides so that my shirt had less contact with my underarms and wouldn’t soak in the sweat so quickly. I took showers morning and night. Sometimes I would come home during lunch to shower as well.

“I wore oversized shirts for better ventilation and to keep my underarms from contacting my shirt. (This didn’t work because the sweat would just drip down to my sides and create wet marks near my waistline),” Ramsey continued. “I brought clean undershirts to work and changed several times daily. I purchased a device that pushes electric currents through your skin and supposedly stops underarm sweat for a period. I never found out whether it worked or not because it was incredibly uncomfortable to use, and I knew this was not the solution to my problem."

Ramsey was about to give up hope of ever being rid of his embarrassing condition when he and his wife attended a fateful seminar on natural health.

“The seminar actually didn’t have anything to do with excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis,” Ramsey said. “But what the speaker said got me to thinking and soon led to my discovery.”

Ramsey’s discovery was practical and unique treatment approach that permanently gets rid of a person’s excessive underarm sweat problem – naturally and without side effects.

Ramsey’s process, which he details in his new ebook, “Stop Sweating and Start Living: A Practical Guide to Ending Your Underarm Sweat Problem,” is made up of three simple steps, takes about 30 seconds a day to complete and relies on readily available and inexpensive products. According to Ramsey’s latest statistics, the method has proven effective for 96 percent of those who have tried it.

Ramsey adds that the process is easy for a person to incorporate into their morning or evening routine, and he personally guarantees that it will keep a person’s underarm sweat problem away for the rest of their life.

So while Californians are sweltering in a heat wave that has set records across the state … while power outages in St Louis and New York City have residents scrambling to find relief from high temperatures … and while usual havens from the heat, such as San Francisco, see record hot temperatures … there remains hope for hyperhidrosis sufferers everywhere.

“At last, there’s an effective way for anyone to cure their underarm sweat problem - in just two weeks - without prescription drugs or risky surgery,” Ramsey said.

Excessive sweating of the under arms is never a pleasant experience. (...)

Excessive sweating of the under arms is never a pleasant experience. When we are in the company of an individual who endures such a condition, people around him/her are able to realize the matter in a short span of time. This is simply because excessive sweating of under arms is almost always accompanied by a strong ad unpleasant odor that is described as obnoxious and viewed with resentment.

Hyperhidrosis is a medical term and me not be a common entrant in our vocabulary. However if you are being treated for excessive sweating under arms or extreme underarm perspiration, your medical practioner will refer to it as Hyperhydrosis. Sweat is a gland secretion and occurs in animals and humans. In our body we have particular sweat glands that produce sweat. Apart from excessive sweating under arms, people could be prone to excess sweating of other body parts. This includes the face, hands and feet. This however, does not pose as large a challenge as disproportionate underarm sweating does.

Hyperhidrosis is amongst the most extensive sweating problems one could be facing. If you are dealing with excessive sweating under arms, it is important that you understand the root cause of the problem. This is vital, especially if you are contemplating self treatment. This is because, in most cases, the problem is continuous and progressive. Hence self help may not be adequate to treat excessive sweating under arms and its time you seek professional guidance that can help resolve and control your excessive sweating under arms woes.

Sweat glands that cause sweat emission are known as Sudoriferous. The two known sweat glands that produce sweat are known as eccrine and apocrine. The Eccrine glands are present in almost all parts of the body. In ordinary conditions, they produce a watery emission in imprecise levels. However, in all totality they are not responsible for uncontrollable and excessive sweating under arms. Typically, eccrine glands produce sweat that is odorless. As compared to this, Apocrine glands are bigger and can be found only in specific areas of the human body, such as the armpits and genital skin. Sweat produced by these glands usually travels to the hair shaft around these parts and is transmitted on the hair follicles. In this situation, the hair follicles in fact help conserve the sweat for longer time periods. Subsequently one has to deal with excessive sweating under arms as the sweat is essentially trapped in such regions.

If you are amongst those who are facing Hyperhydrosis, do not lose heart. This is a common phenomenon and occurs in scores of people. What?s better is that it can be easily treated. You could argue that most humans experience more sweat excretion in their underarms as compared to many other body parts and this shouldn?t call for alarm bells. However detection of excessive sweating under arms can be accomplished if you monitor the intensity of the excess sweat, frequency and odor emission.

When dealing with excessive sweating under arms, you could resort to wearing loose clothes, using antiperspirants, and of increasing water intake. Wearing the right clothes allows your skin to breathe. Our skin comprises of tiny pores, and wearing incorrect clothing over your armpit region, causes sweat production to
Increase because of unnatural air circulation. Drinking large quantities of water acts helps cleanse the body and in return helps rid excessive sweating under arms odor.

In case you are dealing with acute or advanced stages of excessive sweating of under arms, then professional help can help resolve matters. Tests for sweating imbalances will help your practitioner diagnose correctly and you would be put on prescription drugs for a period of time. This helps control or limit excessive sweating under arms. Your physician will also try and determine if your problem is genetic, psychological, circumstantial or a result of nervous system action.
